In the context of the Human Design System, the word “Design” has multiple meanings:
In the BodyGraph, it refers to the neutrino imprinting calculated 88 degrees of the Sun's arc before birth (shown in red). It is your body, your unconscious.
If we are talking about your design or someone's design, we refer to the sum total of their activations, that is, their Rave Chart.
"Design" is also shorthand for the Human Design System itself.
The term Design primarily refers to the BodyGraph as a whole, it is commonly used instead of "Human Design BodyGraph" or "Human Design Chart".
However, Design also refers to everything coded in red in the BodyGraph, which represents the nature of your unconscious. It stands for your bio-genetic inheritance, the themes of your ancestors that influence you unconsciously. While others will recognize these themes within you, you will learn to recognize your unconscious over time.
